What do I do if I have connection issues?

Answer
Over the years [since 2019], we have identified some common issues with server connectivity when playing our game, particularly on corporate networks. These include:
- Poor Hardware Performance – Extremely poor hardware performance can cause network issues due to latency between responses. Our platform should not exhaust your system resources, but at least using a modern graphics card (ex. NVIDIA GTX cards) and having hardware acceleration enabled would be recommended.
- Firewall Rules or Blocked Ports – Blocked key ports required for matchmaking in firewall / VPN / endpoint security solution configuration may sometimes preclude our product from communicating with its matchmaking server.
Make sure that the connection to redvsblue.threatgen.com using ports 443, 19090, 19091 and 19093 and licensing.threatgen.com using port 443 isn’t being blocked in your configuration or network environment [communicating with your network support may be required]. The ports we use for matchmaking have relatively high port numbers, so some restrictive solutions might have a default policy to block them.
If you have any issues after implementing these changes, don’t hesitate to contact our support via e-mail at support@threatgen.com or our contact support form.
