Active Directory and other nodes in ThreatGEN® Red vs. Blue

Question

Do you have any ThreatGEN® Red vs. Blue network environments that focus on Active Directory specific attacks or compromises?

Answer

[Answer provided by our support group head, Greg in April 2025] Here’s a list of the small environments containing the Active Directory asset (that are currently accessible):

You should be able to view them and play them directly in your game. Alternatively, we have these two other small levels out of rotation that also match this criteria, Bodungen’s Bourbon Distillery:

ThreatGEN® Red vs. Blue Bodungen’s Bourbon Distillery network environment

As well as IT Services Company:

We keep the levels we have in a quarterly rotation so as to not overwhelm the users with the choices we have, since we have 23 levels in total, but feel free to send us an email if you’d like me to enable those before your seminar. We do not have the ability to limit environments to specific users, so every single (professional version) user sees the same set of levels at the same time.

Keep in mind that we do not simulate specific solutions or security considerations – ThreatGEN® Red vs. Blue is meant to be a network-level simulation, so the AD assets are mostly the same as any other asset (the only difference between them and other assets is that the Red Team gets a slight increase of success rate of password attack compromises if they control an AD asset).
